If you want to make REALLY short work of a FILTHY porcelain tub (and we all know what thats like when you move into a rental), first clean the tub the best you can with a good commercial cleaner. Then mix about 1/4 muriatic acid (hardware store) to 3/4 water. Wear rubber gloves & with a stiff plastic brush scrub the the grime. Wait a few minutes, rinse & repeat. This removes dirt, grime, hard water scale, stains, yellowing & rust without effort. Rinse well. Be SURE the room is ventilated.
