Do It Yourself (DIY)
Im tiling the shower and coming out of the shower to meet the top of the backsplash on my new vanity and continue around the walls.Do i install the vanity first, then tile up to it,or do i tile first, then install my vanity over the new tile?

Vanity first… Because you need to make sure your vanity top is level then work off that surface.

Vanity first. You can trim tile to butt-up fit, but don’t want to trim your vanity.

Tile first. There’s nothing worse than a partially tiled bathroom. If you ever want to change the vanity…you will have to match the tile. What are the chances you will find the same tile???

Do the tile behind all the fixtures. It’s not that much more tile and well, it’s just the best thing to do.

I’d install all the tile before adding the vanity
