That’s incredibly poor advice from a so called “property expert”. “Borrow borrow borrow” – just as interest rates are about to go up? “Now is a good time to buy” – just as house prices are starting to fall? The only thing she said that I agree with is “The bargains are few and far between” – that’s because the housing market is currently overvalued by 30 – 40 % Anyone borrowing at full stretch now is likely to soon find themselves in negative equity AND struggling to cope with repayments.
