Really you can go with any color you want but stay away from the trendy colors like red, black, green, yellow.and blue. Here’s a site with some really nice bathroom remodels:

I remodeled my bathroom and went with neutral colors.

You are better off going with white tiles since you can always change the color of your other walls a lot cheaper than changing the tiles.
You call use bright colored towels, vases, etc to brighten the colors you want.

You could find really nice tile that have a little green in them or you could pick a color that matches everything like white black or gray Good Luck

Use white tiles on the floor and shower. Then do what ever color you want with the towels and accessories. You can even do two colors of towels.

White is always safe because its so easy to decorate around. I suggest a light neutral color , tans , beige etc. When you do white you ll need a white stool, sink and possible tub if your doing a tub. Not to mention having to use white grout. Gets almost a to sanitary look. Going in tans you still can use all kinds of colors to decorate with but still be neutral should you sell your house or something. GL
